…and then there crept / A little noiseless noise among the leaves / Born of the very sigh that silence heaves  This is my third tattoo and it’s from a poem by John Keats called “I stood tip-toe.” I chose those two words because they represent a concept that Keats wrote about, called negative capability, which is all about embracing the ambiguity of life and finding beauty in that which is impossible to pin down or fully understand. I got this in honor of my college graduation and my acceptance into graduate school; sometimes it’s hard for us English majors to defend ourselves and I wanted a reminder that what I study has weight and significance.  This tattoo was done by Stu at Transcending Flesh in Lancaster, PA; it’s the best tattoo shop in the area and I could not recommend it enough.  my blog: oneay.tumblr.com FYT: Great meaning, script, and placement.
