I'd say it would be better to get the foot tattoo when you can either stay inside so it's not in the sun, or wear open shoes because you don't want to have your socks or shoes rub it.
Very good point. So, when’s a good time of year to not be outside much—that way you can be sock and shoe-less—but also a time where you won’t have to wear socks/shoes that will rub when you do have to go outside? How about springtime? Then, you can wear flipflops, the sun won’t be too intense, you won’t have to worry about socks, and… Yeah.
Weird question but when's the best time of year to get a foot tattoo?
Probably during the late-fall/early winter that way you aren’t going be outside in the sun in sandals or going swimming.

I am dying for a tattoo. I've wanted one for a year now and it's been the same idea, no changes at all. The only issue with this is that I'm only going to be 17 in a month and what is really killing me is that I'm only a year away from getting it on my own. Honestly, though, I just can't wait that long, and my parents aren't totally convinced on letting me get it for my 17th birthday. Have any advice on how to convince them? Usually they're easy-going...
I have a friend that wanted her tattoo when she was 16/17, so she made a PowerPoint presentation—no joke. It worked.

I just got a tattoo behind my ear a few weeks ago, and I was surprised that it didn't really hurt. I mean it did sting, but it didn't hurt too bad. It was just annoying with the buzzing, but I would get one :)
